Granite counters are square or rectangular stones that are placed on your cabinets and then joined at the seams.

Slabs come in different sizes, maximum height of slabs are generally between 5 1/2 feet and 6 feet, maximum length of any where between 8 to 10 feet so anything beyond these dimensions need to be seamed.

Now divide your counters into the appropriate sections and measure.

We'll need to know the location of your sink Center. We will need to know the location of the stove. Also pay special attention to your overhang.

You will want your counter to extend past any under mounted appliance such as the dishwasher.

Usual overrunning is about 1 inch. Counters typically installed in one day.
